I am an early childhood educator, I began my career in 1993 after graduating from UCC. In my career I have worked with ages birth to 18 years old, and their families. My growth as a teacher has been experience based and on the job training, which has led me to the MindUP and the Learn Play Thrive program. I believe that learning where a child's strengths are, and using their strengths as building blocks in early development, create the ground work for success.

My personal life has lead me to learn about the brain and neuroplasticity. I am fascinated with the brain and it's connection to what is happening in the autistic child.

A quote from Albert Einstein -

"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing it is stupid."

The world needs different kinds of minds to work together.
